Hey guys, this is just a small guide I put together to help people who are new to model editing learn to reskin mobs.
First of all you will want to open up MyWarcraftStudio. (found here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
Once it's open you want to go to "Open" and browse to your World of Warcraft folder. There you will see a few MPQ files. You want to open up "common.MPQ".
Once that has located go to the "Creature" tab and browse to the creature you want to reskin. (I am using a boar in this example)

Once there find the skin you want and right click it. You can extract it anywhere (I use my Desktop). When it is extracted find it and drag it into your BLPConverter from MyWarcraftStudio.

Now that that is done another file will appear on your dekstop (or wherever you extracted the .BLP file) You can open this file with Photoshop/Paint or whatever and edit away
When you're finished editing drag it back into the converter and save the NEW blp in MyWarcraftStudio. Run WoW with the model edit fix and BAM! You're done![]()
