Free name change. (no money or credit card involved)

I recently discovered this "exploit" a few days ago. It's very simple:

1. Delete the character you want to name change.
2. Have a friend create a character with the same name and level it to 10. (or just make a trial account and do it yourself)
3. Send in a ticket and ask for your character to be restored.
4. Since the name has already been taken by your friend, your restored character will be flagged for a name change.
5. Change name.
6. ?????
7. Profit.

I've already done this on several characters and it has worked every time with no problems. Enjoy.

nice guide. Did the same thing several years ago when i played retail. but the gm just added one more l in tigerbalm so it became tigerballm instead

I meet this one gm when my retail account got hacked and all my crap sold off,i had to wait 4 days for ticket to be anwsered but she was real nice we sat there and talked and talked even after my issue was done.Very nice
