Thread: How to make a start place for Trinity Core [Easy]

Hello Fellow Members of MMOTOP.ORG I am new to this website / forum so i wanted to get started ok.
In this tutorial i will be showing you how to make a start place for both side Alliance / Horde.
Its really SIMPLE.
So 1st. download HeidiSQL From here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
2nd. when thats installed with everything download this HeidiSQL file called Start.sql here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
When you have that double click it and then turn your mysql on in your repack, then go back on heidisql and press New.
3rd. when you done that in host name type 127.0.0.1 then user put it root and then pass ascent.
Host name / ip: 127.0.0.1
User: root
Password: Ascent

then click open, so when its open you will have this tab on called start.sql KEEP IT ON and then in the list at the left click world.
4th. when you click it go back to start.sql
and then go to world of warcraft and go on your server, BUT YOU HAVE TO TURN THE SERVER ON.
5th. then go to your place you want the start bit and type .gps and you will see alot of stuff like this.

and you will need to right the stuff in red on a notepad, but do your stuff when you writ .gps when all thats in notepad or somthing go to HeidiSQL again and go on the start.sql and i will mark in red where you need to put all your codes.

Then change all that to all your codes, when you have done that press the blue button at the bar at top.

You HAVE to be on World tab.
if the mediafire link goes and you cant download it just press the picture and copy it into a sql file!
You should not get any errors, then just turn your worldserver.exe off and go to repack and turn back on, make a new toon / char and then your done, you should go to the place you put it, if you get any errors just post below, thanks for reading

short info for the lazy people: change the map id and the coordinates in the table "playercreatureinfo" to you position with ingame ".gps"

Nice tutorial. Easy to follow and pretty much self-explained with the pictures you provided :) However I recommend cleaning the tutorial up a bit. Because at the first look at it right now it looks just like a bunch of text. Break them into sections or so etc.

I recommend using the words: Space it all up :)

Not bad. Much easier to read now :P another thing you could do is to highlight the step numbers with blue or so. So they know when the next step start etc.
