    Default [Share] How To Compile Trinity Core With Pics [Tutorial]

    Before doing anything make sure you have these programs:
    SQLYOG
    VISUAL C++ 2008
    TORTOISE HG

    TrinityCore SVN: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    TrinityDB SVN [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    Clone them to the following locations (dont create the folders before cloning :#)
    C:\Trinity
    C:\TDB

    When its done startup Microsoft Visual C++ and go to [File - Open - Project/Solution] & navigate to C:\Trinity\Win\TrinityCore&Script VC90 <--- Open

    Then do this:

    When its set to "Release" click on [Build - Clean Solution] it will take a few seconds.

    When its completed you should get this message:
    ========== Clean: 10 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 skipped ==========

    Then click on [Build - Build Solution] you can also just press the F7 button on your keyboard.

    This will take a while.

    When its completed close the program and open up [Computer\C:\Trinity\Bin\Win32_Release] and copy the files in that directory to your server Folder.

    Database setup ...

    Navigate to [C:\TDB\Full_db]

    And Unzip the "TDB_332.8.26_7332.rar" with winrar.

    Open SQLYOG and create a database and pick a cool name for it, but if you dont want to change it in the configs later just name it "World"

    Rightclick on the world database and click on [IMPORT - RESTORE FROM SQL DUMP] Then choose the SQL file you just unzipped in the TDB folder and "EXECUTE"

    When its completecreate 2 more databases call them "realmd" and "Characters"
    And import the character SQL file to characters & the realmd file into realmd
    You can find them in [C:\Trinity\SQL]

    When its complete you will need to update your database, there are 2 folders with SQL files
    [C:\Trinity\sql\updates]
    [C:\TDB\updates]
    just import all sql files to the right Db (world/character/realmd) :#

    Both links are not working. "HTTP Error: 404 (Not Found)
    [command returned code 255 Mon Aug 08 10:20:37 2011]"

    "Server sent unexpected return value (405 Method Not Allowed) in response to
    OPTIONS request for 'https://trinitydb.googlecode.com/hg'"

    I used both Tortoise HG and Tortoise SVN giving the same error.
