Thread: how to make a trinity core server online

Step 1
hey guys this is a guide for newbies which will try to learn u how to get your trinity server online:
first go to: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] it isn't very important which one do u choose.K let's Continue make ann acc and make a host for example i made the acc example.dyndns.org.
After u did all u are done with this.


Step 2
Now Go Open MySQL (important) and Appache (optional)
and go to heidsql,Navicat PhPmyadmin or whatever are u using i am using navicat cuz it is the easyiest
and navicate to realmd---->realmlist
and u will find there and address 127.0.0.1 change that address to the host that u made at No ip or dyndns
whatever and DO NOT TOUCH THIS which are located in trinity core.conf

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;world"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;character"
127.0.0.1 means your SQL address if u change that it won't work
and ascent is your SQL password
and realmd,World,characters are DB so do not touch them and also do not touch this in trinity realm.conf

LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;ascent;realmd
if u change that 127.0.0.1 it will just say u logging server and u can't connect
k if u did all of this u are done with this step

Step 3
go to run and type there:
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\
now open host with notepad and it should look like this
127.0.0.1 example.dyndns.org
Internal IP example.dyndns.org
External IP example.dyndns.org
now save that if u can't save it i will explin u how to save it:
go to security click on security and push edit
find your user and and click there on full control after this u can save that.
now u are done with step 3

Step 4 which is the hardest
go to run type cmd and type ipconfig/all
where it says Default Gateway 192.168.x.x something like this open your internet and type [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] now find your router [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
and now u have to port forward this:
80
8085
3306
3724
8086 (if u want more realms)
now u are done with everything u can now start trinity core and trinity realm
change your realmlist to the host that u created at dyndns or no ip.
this also work for MaNGOS
