Thread: The story of Marshal Dungan

"Hello again to one of my story's. This time its about a great Human warrior, named Dungan."
"And it begins like this:"

Dungan Glaryman, was born in a farmer family, in Silverpine forest. At 8 years he had to help his father on the field alredy, so he had no school. When the plague came, he was 20 years old, and was called to defend Lordaeron from the Scourge, commanded by Arthas. The Scourge won, and many soldiers were captured or killed. Some escaped, with them it was Dungan, fled to Shadowfang keep, where united with the Mages stopped the Scourge, but not for long.

After the second attack of the Scourge on Shadowfang keep, Dungan was forced to run away. But this time, at half way he stopped, took out his sword and shield. And walked back to Shadowfang. The other man looked at him, and thought that his a total fool. Dungan charged at the undead, and smashed him with his shield. And so, all the other remaining Scourge inside charged at Dungan. Some say it was a number of 300 undead warriors, some of 400. He stood his ground, and all the waves of undead that came out of Shadowfang, couldn't move Dungan away. Not even the Abominations. The other man behind him were amazed, to see one man to fight such horde of undeads.
Dungan won the fight that day, and from there on, his deeds were legendery.

Now 15 years were passed from that event, and Dungan become a Marshal, and a hero. He helped in recapturing of Stormwind, banishing the undeads in Duskwood, recapturing of Arathi Highlands from the Forsaken and helped Ashbringer in the assault on the Lich King. Yes, Dungan become very known, not only by the Humans or the Alliance, even the Horde. He was known for his mercy and justice. He was a true knight, helped the poor, punish the criminals and banishing evil. But in all those years of victory, disappointing, he gathered much enemy's, one of those is the witch Ernes, who was once a great warlock in Stormwind, but when he become Marshal, he captured her, and declared her for a enemy of Stormwind and a agent of the Scourge. She escaped from jail, and from that moment on, she plans how to end Dungans life. She tried many things, sending assassins after him, bandits.. but now, she made an even more evil plan.

Marshal Dungan just yet came from Northrend, and after his visit to Stormwind, he went to his castle, in Deadwind pass. But he was ambushed by bandits in Duskwood forest, he won and the bandits runed away. But right then, Ernes came, and attacked Dungan. Dungan as a great Hero, charged at the witch and knocked her to the ground. Dungan thought she was knocked, but right when he camed to her, she cursed Dungan with one of her spells. Dungan fall to the ground at that moment. Ernes stood up, and said Dungan, that he will no more be in her path, and left. Dungan slowly started to rot. when he came to himself, he looked at himself, he now was a Undead, a walking dead. He tried to lift his sword and shield. But no use, he lost his strength. His horse dead on the ground like his two man.
Right at that moment, some guards came by, and saw him. They didn't asked who he is, and charged at him. And so, our great Hero Dungan had to run away. No one knows where he ran.

From here on, his great life as a Hero ends, and it begins the chapter of his revenge upon the witch. He confronted many dangerous, and slowly had to gain his strength back.


Chapter 1: Dungan's rebirth

After Dungan fled from the two guards, he found himslef at the border of Duskwood forest. Now that he was a Undead, there was no chance the people of Stormwind would accept him. And so Dungan decided to take revenge on Ernes.

If Dungan wanted to take revenge, he had first to get his strength and some "friends" to help
him.

He walked a bit to south, and came to Stranglethorne vale. A place of mistery and pirates. And the home of Booty bay. Booty bay is knowed for its Rum, Pirates and criminal. The only place where Dungan could find a helper. He tought on the bounty hunter Nersin.

Nersin was a proud High elf rouge. Before the Scourge invaded Quel'thalas, he was knowed for his great acts. But after the Scourge invade, he lost his Honor and called a betrayer, only becouse he wasnt there when the Scourge invaded. From that time on, he joined the Outlaws. He wasnt long with them, as quickly he was captured by the Scourge and transformed into a Death Knight. After Ashbringer's victory he was freed. Now he is good with both sides, Alliance and Horde.

When Dungan arrived at Booty bay, it was night. And the guards there were in panic. As a ship of them was taken away from the Pirates. They searched Dungan and asked him so questions. It took like half hour, after that he was let in.

He looked a bit around, and found a misteryos looking guy, dressed all in black. Dungan asked the guy for a man named Nersin. And he answeard: "Who wants him, and why?"

Dungan answeard that he wants him, and told a bit of his story. The guy looked a bit on Dungan, and sayed: "His in the old house, at the end of town."

Dungan thanked the guy and moved to the house. When he came, he saw inside the house the same person. Just then he realized, it was Nersin from the howl begining. Dungan and Nersin were talking about his problem for almost the howl night.

At morning, Dungan found himself on a boat. He was shocked to see, he was alredy at see. Dungan almost jumped from the ship, when Nersin said he should take it easy. Nersin, after Dungan fall asleep, took him to boat. Now he and Dungan are headed to Undercity, where they hope to find some answers.

The trip from Booty bay to Undercity was long, 2 days and a half. So for Dungan who never had some love for ships and the sea, it was heaven to be back at land.

When they arrived at Undercity, Dungan was shoked, to see Lordareon in ruins, plague all around it. He needed to remambre it like it was before the Scourge. He stoped at the front gates and started to cry. Nersin, not to get much attention, took Dungan at hand, and pulled him with him. They made there way to the Undercity tavern as fast as they could. You may never know when a Undead would get you, and say your traitors.

At the tavern, Nersin said, there was a warlock who might help Dungan at getting his revenge. And so Dungan waited at the tavern. Just when at a moment a female hand touched him. Dungan got so scared he jumped of the chair. The Undead took his hand and pulled him up. She said her name was Seronia, and that she knows his problems. Seronia said to Dungan he and Nersin should meet her in her house in Arathi Highlands. And as fast and quite she came, so fast she vanished.

Dungan was happy to see, he will get his revenge, and his normal life again.

Chapter 2: The making of The Red Dawn
Nersin and Dungan, like Seronia said to them, came to her house in Arathi. When they two steeped into the house, Seronia wasn't there. But just at that moment when Nersin touched one of her books, she came, and touched Nersin at his shoulder. He got so scared, that he jumped out of the window. Dungan then wake up. He just saw the window destroyed near Seronia, and her as she was laughing. He stud up, and asked her what happened, and at that moment Nersin came in, all dirty from the mud he fall into. Then even Dungan started to laugh.

After Dungan and Seronia stoped to laugh, they started to talk about the plan. Each one said his own plan, Nersin about to make the undead attacke the witch, Dungan on asking Stormwind for help and Seronia on making a new plague, similar to the one the Forsaken used. To say better, the plans were for no use. They were thinking the howl evening, till Nersin hasn't got the best idea. It was a crazy one, but if the first part works, its unstoppable. Just it was a little problem, that the plan to works, both factions need to be there. So Alliance and Horde, 3 heroes from each side. Nersin and Seronia were 2 hordes, now Dungan needed only some more Alliance. Which will not be easy. They named this "brotherhood" The Red Dawn.

Dungan hasnt got his strength back yet, so Nersin took over Dungans job, to assemble the brotherhood. In the meantime, Seronia prepared Dungan for his task.
