Thread: How to make a wow server 3.2.0!+Fix bugs

So are on of the first 3.2.0 Come!!!
I have work all the night to fixe the most Bugs, and now are is only talents I need to fix:) Ulduar and the new Instance dont work.

Repack: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

1. install: .NET Framework 3.5
1a. install: Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

2. extract to *:\AC Web MaNGOS Hybrid\ (*=your root drive)

3. inside the 'Tools' folder is 'ad.exe' copy that file to your WoW directory (C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft) and launch it.

4. while the maps are extracting, open 'realmlist.wtf' with notepad and set to localhost (set realmlist localhost)
(C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Data\(your country)\realmlist.wtf)

5. move the newly created 'dbc' & 'maps' folders to your 'MaNGOS' directory (C:\AC Web MaNGOS Hybrid\MaNGOS)

6: STart the server.

7:Then you have Done that!, So Download This Udb Files I have fixe. Them Both and Copy them.

First Copy This to scriptdev2_udb and mangos_udb.

So download This to laste: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Copy Them in scriptdev2_udb and mangos_udb too(:

Now should the most Bugs where gone!!

Hey guys - i am having probs with my 3.2 data extractors and was wondering if any one could point me to an upload for the proper data folders ( DBC, Buildings Maps VMaps) or an SVN repository that i could get the files - i've already tried several different 3.2 extractors including the one that came with the hybrid repack for 3.2 and have downloaded several times

Hey, thanks for the info I made my server after your example and it worked.
How can I make the server online, or at least so I can play with couple of friends. I didn't find any threads in the forum, if there are any, I'll be glad if someone could link them to me here or on PM.

1: Download Hamachi
2: Get your friends to download Hamachi and connect to your Hamachi network.
3: Set realmlist to your Hamachi IP and the realm config file to your hamachi IP too. After that, you and your friends should be able to connect.

Thanks, but I tried the same thing and after they have typed in their acc name and password it shows them "retrieve character list" and it just stays like this.

What could cause the problem ?

For Hamachi to work it must first be able to work from local network. Hamachi is just a tool which extends your local LAN network to other people on the internet. Also be aware of this got your own security. Friends need to be people you trust because for example shared folders on local network visible to others on your LAN can also see when they connect with Hamachi. Just saying you probably don't want regular active hamachi links to random strangers/internet people on your LAN just for the purpose of playing a game

The next thing to consider is while most settings are 127.0.0.1 for Mangos purposes, when going to support internet connections some of those settings on MySQL need to change to support connection from non localhost. This means either change to something like 192.168.0.100 where 100 is your particular IP address easy to identify with cmd.exe window command prompt and run IPCONFIG.

Need to probably learn also about set your IP to static same IP everytime you boot in network settings.

Will maybe also need to put port forwarding on your router and forward the needed ports for wow support ports 3724 and 8085 and then may not need hamachi at all?

Don't have a router? Don't have a firewall? Don't have antivirus? May want to backup often and keep reinstall disks handy.

Creating ArcEmu server it's easy,But i dont know how it's on MaNGOS :P
