Thread: trinitycore first attempt at compile cmake error

Ok so ive been searching for an hour only to find threads of ppl with same prob and ppl just laughing at them. So im a bit frustrated. Anyways I decided to compile my own core so i could keepthings up to date get new databases and fixes and what not. I installed everything i need as following the trinitycore how to-win webpage. Im on second step where you setup cmake, ive pointed it to my source and build dir, then hit configure and it fails with this message

F:/ is my windows directory :/ anyways ive tried looking for the bcc.exe but after an entire search of pc drives internal and external it finds nothing. Im really stumped but am not the type to give up lol please help me im at wits end.

Ok I figured it out!!! for some reason the instructions say to pic visual studios in dropdown AFTER you hit configure anyways had to clear cache then the drop down reappeared for me to pic it. Sorry that ive asked questions and then figured it out ten minutes later lol. Thanks for the help either way, and hopefully anyone with same prob can see what I did wrong and how I fixed it.
