Thread: cannot connect

Im using Xampp in order to run my Apache and my Mysql. I deleted my previous repack and reset the root to my mysql because im going to start compiling soon but i ran into a problem with the site my apache has. My site is supposed to be conquestofavalon.no-ip.org but the time runs out. All of my firewalls are down and my ports are opened plus im using the No-ip DUC and it should work but its not. Not even "173.26.105.233:8080" or "127.0.0.1" will come up. And my "Host" under System32 its all set up correct.

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.1.102 localhost
173.26.105.233 conquestofavalon.no-ip.org

Something is wrong with my localhost i think.

Something is wrong with your apache, start apache and look if it works or it will close itself after some time.

jerry i run Xampp, should i uninstall the apache and reinstall it? When i click start it starts but i cant visually see it the only way i can is the "running" in xampp

Go to xampp folder and start xampp-portcheck.exe and look if some program using your apache port.

The only ports that are tooken up is

Apache <HTTPS> 443 C:\mmopro\xxamp\apache\bin\httpd.exe
Tomcat <HTTP> 8080 C:\mmopro\xxamp\apache\bin\httpd.exe

and the rest of the ports are free.

But when i type in my search bar 127.0.0.1 nothing comes up, or my Ip address :8080 and i still get nothing its the same "Unable to Connect"

I just tried going to my Xampp Admin Page and i couldnt even connect to my localhost. "Cannot find localhost"

Also my (ipadress:8080) was not working it said the same thing the other two did. My localhost is set up exactly like i typed up there ^

its my localhost though, i dont see how a DNS will help?
