Thread: 3.0.9 Server not connecting help please

Ive been trying to setup an offline server for myself, and ive managed to start the server according to the DOS boxes that open. When logging in, with a custom username or password and with the 'admin' 'admin' account, it authenticates, handshakes.. and stops on connected..

after that it wont go into the character page, and i can go no further.

please help. i am using the AC web ultimate repack, which uses ArcEmu 8.0

if someone could list very important steps that may have been overlooked in the tut's ive read.. such as is port fporwarding needed for a local server. Is 127.0.0.1 workable on vista. What options need to match between the config files (eg. ports)? and anything ive forgortern to mention.
