Thread: How to depatch your WoW client [Patch 3.3.5a and under ONLY]

I didn't write this guide! Also, I am aware that this is really basic stuff for some people but not everyone knows how to do this :)

DE-PATCHING GUIDE:
If you have patched beyond the version(s) Neverendless supports you will either have to depatch to continue playing here, or wait until the server patches up which could be a long time.

MAC Guide:
Thanks to Args we have a depatch guide for Macintosh [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

PC Guide:
Step 1: Locate and open the Data folder inside the main World of Warcraft folder. If you do not know where it is, read step 3 from the Connection Guide above.

Step 2: Delete the following files: patch.mpq, patch-2.mpq, and patch-3.mpq. If you are missing any of these do not worry about it.
Do not delete common.mpq, common-2.mpq, expansion.mpq, or lichking.mpq or you will have to reinstall.
Step 3: Return to the main World of Warcraft folder.

Step 4: Run repair.exe. If you cannot locate it, download it [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and upzip it into your World of Warcraft folder. You may need to right click and select Run as Administrator to get it to work properly. If your repair.exe doesn't work at all then you will, unfortunately, have to reinstall World of Warcraft.

Step 5: Click Reset and Check Files.

Step 6: You should now get a message indicated that your World of Warcraft is seriously damaged and it will have to depatch to an earlier version. Proceed with this and wait for it to finish.

Step 7: Once the depatching process is finished your client will be on version 3.0.1 and you can begin patching up. If you don't already have the patch files saved on your computer you can start downloading them while repair.exe is running.

If you are unsure which patches you need or need help with patching, read the Patching Guide above.

Step 8: After you have installed the necessary patches you will need to change your realmlist back to: set realmlist realm.neverendless-wow.com
