This server supports WOTLK 3.0.9 Client (9551).

This is: PryDevServer Rev 29
CORE = Mangos x64 7686
DATABASE = YTDB rev147 & ScriptDev 1012 & ACID 009

I have also included the extractor tools, mang admin, mini manager.

*New* Instant Level 80 PVP Database added. Custom start for Ally / Horde.
Funserver now has a huge mall and definitely worth checking out: to get there .tele PrydsMall.
And a brand new pryramid maze in gmisland with treasure chest rewards!
Lastly there is a leveling road from 70-80, .tele LevelRoad, or .tele LevelingRoad

Also though I have enabled the Strand of the Ancients que portal, the BG
is far from completion, so keep that in mind when testing.

These servers sport Northrend Instances, Mobs, Quests spawned and scripted.
Working BGs, achievments, glyphs, professions, & added a few special mounts!
I have also added items, and gear for starting players on the funserver.

If you find that you don't like any part of it, feel free to change it as you see fit.
Especially the playercreateinfo_spells and playercreateinfo_items, etc.

I normally don't release repacks but this is an exception. Why?
Because I've been working on it for months and it seems to be the
best I've ever had and thought you all should have this too.

Please note, from now on I am including 3 Mangos worlds. One is a YTDB Blizzlike
The second world is a YTDB FunServer which has been manipulated by me.
Last is a PVP Instant 80 YTDB database.

That way if you like one aspect from one world you can compare the
two databases and steal pieces from each.

Fun Server mall also now has class trainers / glyph vendors / and
a place to get a haircut.

Quick & Dirty Install Guide-

Prior Setup Needed but not included in this guide:

There are plenty of guides out there for the criteria mentioned above therefore make sure to have those three working plus .net framework.
You will know if you are ready to continue my guide if you can connect to your mysql server through Navicat.


Step1
Create a Folder called C:\Mangos

Step2
Unzip all the files from my repack into a folder on your desktop, then go into that folder
and copy everything inside the folder "WOTLK9551_Mangos7686_SD1012_ACID009" to "C:\Mangos"

Step3
Create a folder called "data" in Mangos so that you have C:\Mangos\data

Step4
Go into the map extractor tools folder and take Ad.exe and place it in your Main WoW Folder.
Example C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft or C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft.
Once you run Ad.exe you will get 2 new folders, DBC and MAPS.
Copy these two folders back into C:\Mangos\data

Step5
Go back into Map extractor tools folder in C\Mangos and copy

vmapextract_v2.exe,
vmap_assembler.exe,
splitConfig.txt,
makevmaps_simple.bat,
make vmaps.bat

into C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS or C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS.
Now run makevmaps_simple.bat and let that run until it is finished which will take some time.
Don't close it too early because it extracts the buildings first.. then makes the vmaps afterward.
You will get VMAPS folder which needs to be copied back into C:\Mangos\data

Step6
While that is extracting let us now open up Navicat and create 4 new databases.
The 4 databases should be Characters, Mangos, Realmd, ScriptDev.
Now import/restore/execute batch each of the databases that is supplied in the database folder
inside C:\Mangos\DBC_YTDBrev146 to its respective counterpart inside your MySQL server.

Please note that you can import MangosFun, and MangosBliz, it's completely your choice.

Step7
Now all that you must do is edit your config files within C:\Mangos.
First open up scriptdev2.config. Find the line:

And change your username, password, and database to match your MySQL Server setup.

Do this same procedure with realmd.config : example

Lastly go into mangos.config and edit these 4 important lines.

DataDir = "C:\Mangos\data"

LoginDatabaseInfo     = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;password;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo     = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;password;mangos"
CharacterDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;password;characters"

Step8
Open up Navicat and go into your Realmd database.
Find the table realmlist and look at the data entries.

Make sure the ID is number 1.
Change the Name to whatever name you want people to see.
Change the address to your external IP example: myserver.dyndns.org
Port should be 8085

This last action is to make the server live to the world,
assuming you have Xampp properly setup and your router ports
are forwarded correctly when you run realmd.exe the program will
connect to your realmd database. If this information is set to 127.0.0.1
then you must set your realmlist.wtf file in WoW to match this.
But if your setup is myserver.dyndns.org then inside realmlist.wtf in WOW
you would use myserver.dyndns.org to connect.


Step9 Run Mangos.exe
If you did it right, this will load error free.

Anyhow once the Mangos server loads completely, now is your time to create
a username and password for server access.

If you have the mangos.exe selected you should be able to type commands. Type ? or command to see the available commands.

Example:

Step10
Now open up your favorite SQL program and go back into the Realmd database.
Look for the table accounts. You should see under data the new account that you just created.
Find the spot that says GM level and put this at 3.
Now this account is a GM and you will have access to GM commands ingame.

*Note*
The Mangos FunServer world allows non GMS to .additem, .tele, etc.
But the Mangos Blizzlike world does not.

Time to log in.

But before we log in, there is still Mang Admin
That folder belongs in the WOW Interface Addons folder.

Mini Manager
This Folder belongs in your C:\Xampp\htdocs\web\

To configure MiniManger properly so you can use a web based interface for account creation,
item manipulation, etc etc.. You must configure one file. The File is in the minimanager folder, under scripts, and it is called config.php.

To enable MiniManager you must open up Navicat.
Create a database called mmfpm to match the one mentioned above.
Then open up your mini manager folder and look for the folder called SQL.
Inside you will find sql updates which you need to import / restore to the newly created mmfpm database.

Hello, and pardon me for contacting you. I've dowloaded your server and was succesfull in running , (yeah)
so thank you very much for that. One question remains.
If i run mangosd.exe I see a message stating there is something wrong with spells settings (2) for 5656 (Brown Horse Bridle)

I was trying out how to give beginners a mount. (A horse)
Altough I figured out a way (as a gm ingame) the horse can not be mounted.
I managed to do the Elekk but after choosing the horse, all that happens is that the character
starts doing it's spell and that's it.

Furthermore after using the minimanager, updating items, that also seems the generate errors
Is it something I am missing?

I hope you can shed some light on this.

Hi, after a few hours nosing around the database with some tools I finally managed to change some settings without the startup messages which came about when using the minimanager.

After changing settings for the Brown Horse with the MiniManager, it will show up in your backpack, but It will generate an error message during startup stating something like spelltrigger_2 having incorrect values. The horse can not be mounted. If you use NavcatLite or phpMyAdmin there's no error. And the horse can be used.
One thing I have not been able to do, is change the riding requirement, somehow it stays there. (for now I change the riding with the GM panel) Same thing for the elekk. Level requirement en Riding level requirement stay at initial levels, even after changing the settings within the database 'mangos'
I must be doing something wrong here...

So again, I am greatly thankfull for this server, although there are some inconsitencies when using the Minimanager.

Mayby someone can shet a light on what to change, when I want the horse to be direct rideable for level 1 without requirements.

You are runing funserver right ?

You can setup that all your players will start game with ride skill already learned.
I must check this, but i dont have time to guide you through this step right now so i will do that for you tomorrow.

Well I do not use the funserver, I installed the blizzlike one.

I only want to give a mount to the player at startup. (and maybey a weapon)
I've done this by using the Navcat lite program. First I had to find the relationsship between the Race/Class and the actual types you can choose within WOW.

For example:
Race 1: Human
Race 2: Orc
Race 4: Night Elf
Race 10: Blood Elf

After that I setup the 'player..._items' table:
All Classes within Race 4 now have a horse when they start.

And yes, I have to find out how to enable riding skills on startup.

After that addnig weapons is on the list.

Not much more will be given on startup, but havnig a mount makes it all so much easier, withuot spoling the game (instant lvl 80).

Im working on it... just i have some errors with my mysql so i must fix that first.

By no means do I think your working slow. Any help is appreciated. I myself do have to get to work also.

This server is something I really like to tackle, but please do not feel pushed or anything.

Mayby I can be of any help to you. I know quite a bit about databases, php and programming in general. :)

Just to inform anyone interested:
I found out how to put riding skill into the mangos database for starters:

INSERT INTO `mangos`.`playercreateinfo_spell` (`race`, `class`, `Spell`, `Note`) VALUES ('4', '1', '33389', 'RidingSkill')

In the above example :
Race 4 = Night Elf
Class 1 = Warrior
Spell 33389 = Riding Skill

To have a mount for the NightElf:

INSERT INTO `mangos`.`playercreateinfo_item` (`race`, `class`, `itemid`, `amount`) VALUES ('4', '1', '5656', '1')

In the above example :
Race 4 = Night Elf
Class 1 = Warrior
itemid 5656 = Brown Horse Bridle

The brown horse bridle needs a level requirement of 1
you should change that in the creature table.
