    Default How to make Arcemu server public using Hamachi

    I will make a video later for this, if anyone has any recommendations for software please let me know because I'm not feeling CamStudio lol

    First you need to go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and download Hamachi, after it's finished install it.

    When that's done open it and find the numbers at the top [this is your Hamachi IP]

    Next you need to Create a new network, you can do this by clicking the Network tab.

    A window like this should pop up

    A couple things to take into consideration before choosing your network ID and password: anyone you want to connect to your server will use the same thing, so for example don't choose a password you use for emails, etc. Also both the network ID and password ARE case sensitive.

    Now that that's out of the way, navigate to your repack folder and open configs, inside will be a file called realm.config, open it with notepad

    Once it's opened, scroll to the bottom and you should find something like this:

    Code:
    <Realm1 Name = "testrealm1"
    Code:
        Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
        Icon = "Normal"
        Population = "1.0"
        TimeZone = "1">

    You need to change 127.0.0.1 to your Himache IP that we talked about previously.

    DO NOT remove the quotes, and DO NOT replace the :8129

    Now you need to navigate to your WoW directory, and go to Data, then EnUS [or EnGB, or whatever your language is :)] and find the realmlist.wtf file, open that with notepad.

    Replace all the text inside with 'set realmlist YOUR HAMACHI IP' [without the quotes].

    Now all your friends need to play on your server is: 1. to change their realmlist to the same as you just changed yours to. 2. to DL and install Hamachi. 3. They need the Network ID and password you made earlier.

    Now you and your friends are set! Have fun (:

    If I missed anything, or anyone has any suggestions please tell me (:

    Nice guide, easy to follow. . . but I am getting a realm logon loop... I have checked the files so many times i have a headache now, they are all exactly as you described (withn the exception of MY hamachi ip, of course :P)

    Im having the same problem on my computer and my friends, I can login to my private realm with no problem, but the one with the public hamachi ip has the realm loop problem. . .
