Yes, after reading this post it reminded me that blizzard has many unused weapon entry ids in their dbc. So the fix is to use the entry id of the weapon type you want that blizzard does not use. A complete list here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ].

yeah those can be used to. just a note: if you equip a npc with the weapon it will get the display of the blizzard weapon and not the one you used. ( this is cause those unused weapon entry ids are for displaying weapons on npcs )

I did exactly as you said. But when it said the query's i got 7404 instead of 1 and when i logged on to my server all my gear and everything was gone how can i get it back without reinstalling the repack.
